When running backups on the Proxmox server, the VMs sometimes hang and require a reboot to work again. I don’t understand why this is happening; it occurs occasionally and is quite frustrating. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Starting with Proxmox VE 8.2, there’s a new option called "Fleecing" (Backup Write Cache) that helps reduce I/O pressure within guest VMs. You can find this option in the Advanced tab of the backup job settings. Try enabling it.
