R1soft backup not working

Encountering the following error during the execution of the r1soft backup:
"Request was rejected by the agent as it is currently engaged in another operation."
Could anyone provide guidance on this matter?

Best answer
Verify the active hotcopy on the client-server by employing the hcp -l command.
Halt the cdp agent with the command /etc/init.d/cdp-agent stop.
Eliminate the active hotcopy using hcp -r /dev/(device name).
Subsequently, initiate the cdp agent and initiate the backup process.
If the issue persists, consider rebooting the server with confirmation from the client.
